works, wastewater works or industrial wastewater works unless the
person in responsible charge has been duly certified under this Act.
Any person, firm or corporation, both municipal and private, violat-
ing any provisions of this Act or the rules and regulations adopted
thereunder is guilty of a misdemeanor and liable for a penalty of not
more than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) a day. Each day of employ-
ment in violation of this Act or any rules and regulations adopted
thereunder shall constitute a separate offense.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

CHAPTER 431
(Senate Bill 149)

AN ACT to repeal Section 118 of Article 66C of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources,"
subtitle "Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Com-
mission," and to enact in lieu thereof a new Section 118, to stand
in place of the section so repealed; clarifying the authority of
officers of the Department of Game and Inland Fish, prohibiting
impersonating such officers and prescribing penalties for such
impersonations.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 118 of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land, (1957 Edition), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Birds,
Game and Inland Water Fish," subheading "Commission," be and
it is hereby repealed and that a new Section 118 be and it is hereby
enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in place of the Section so repealed
and to read as follows:

118.

(a)  The Director, AND all salaried law enforcement personnel, and
other full time employees of the Department who may be assigned
law enforcement duties
shall have all the powers conferred upon
police officers or constables of this State,
IN ADDITION TO
POWERS CONFERRED BY THIS SUBTITLE and such powers
may be exercised anywhere within the territorial limits of this State.

(b)  It shall be unlawful for any person to falsely represent him-
self as being a member
AN EMPLOYEE of the Department of Game
and Inland Fish of Maryland, with fraudulent design upon person
or property, or to have, use, wear or display, without authority
of the Director of the Department of Game and Inland Fish, any
uniform, shield, button, ornament, or shoulder patch of the Depart-
ment of Game and Inland Fish, or to have any simulation or imita-
tions of such articles for the purpose of deception.

Any person violating the provisions of this subsection shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be sub-
ject to a fine of not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and
