AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 9 (b) (2)
of Article 31 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Debt—Public," subtitle "Public Securities," subheading
"Conditions upon Sale of Public Securities," correcting an error
in the laws relating generally to the conditions upon the sale of
public securities.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 9 (b) (2) of Article 31 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Debt—Public," subtitle "Public
Securities," subheading "Conditions upon Sale of Public Securities,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

(2) Bonds issued pursuant to a [plant] plan of refunding or re-
financing in exchange, bond for bond, for outstanding maturing in-
debtedness other than current or floating indebtedness, and other
than the bonds or notes described in subparagraph (1) hereof, but
including in this exception bonds issued pursuant to any plan of
composition approved and adopted in a proceeding under Chapter IX
of the United States Bankruptcy Act;

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1967.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 14 (a) of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1966 Supplement), title "Elections," subtitle "General Powers and
Duties of Supervisors of Elections," raising the rental for ELIMI-
NATING THE STATUTORY PROVISION SPECIFYING THE
AMOUNT TO BE PAID FOR RENTAL AND GENERALLY
RELATING TO THE RENTAL OF privately owned polling AND
REGISTRATION places in Baltimore City.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 14(a) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1966 Supplement), title "Elections," subtitle
"General Powers and Duties of Supervisors of Elections," be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
