AN ACT to repeal Section 301 (i) of Article 23 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Corporations", sub-
title "Religious Corporations", subheading "Protestant Episcopal
Church—Diocese of Easton", and to enact new Section 301 (i) in
lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section repealed, to amend
the provisions regarding the election of delegates to annual and
special conventions in the Diocese to require the delegate to have
certain qualifications as provided in the Constitution of the Con-
vention of the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of
Easton.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 301 (i) of Article 23 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Corporations", subtitle "Religious Cor-
porations", subheading "Protestant Episcopal Church—Diocese of
Easton", be and it is hereby repealed, and that new Section 301 (i)
be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of
the section repealed, and to read as follows:
301.
(i) The method of election of lay delegates and alternate lay dele-
gates to annual or special conventions held in the Diocese of Easton.
the number or numbers of such delegate or delegates to represent
each parish, aided parish, separate congregation, mission or the con-
gregation of Trinity Cathedral, and the qualifications of such dele-
gate or delegates and their alternates shall be such as may be pre-
scribed from time to time by the Constitution of the Convention of
the Protestant Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Easton.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 298 (b),
298 (aa), 303 (d) and 304 (e) of Article 23 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Corporations", subtitle "Re-
ligious Corporations", subheading "Protestant Episcopal Church-
Diocese of Easton"; and to repeal Section 298 (d) of said Article,
title and subtitle of the Code, to enlarge the definition of "Assistant
priest or minister", amend the definition of "Vestry", to clarify
certain provisions regarding times of meeting of vestry, and to
delete certain references to the cathedral council.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 298 (b), 298 (aa), 303 (d) and 304 (e) of Article 23
