AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 482 of
Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supplement),
title "Insurance Code", subtitle "28. Casualty Insurance", amend-
ing the law concerning an insurer who seeks to disclaim coverage
on certain policies of liability insurance in order to make this
section applicable to any policy of liability insurance issued by an
insurer, and relating generally to the effect and workings of such
a disclaimer.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 482 of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Supplement), title "Insurance Code", subtitle "28. Casualty
Insurance", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amend-
ments, to read as follows:
482.
Where any insurer seeks to disclaim coverage on any policy of
[motor vehicle] liability insurance issued by it, on the ground that
the insured or anyone claiming the benefits of the policy through the
insured has breached the policy by failing to cooperate with the
insurer or by not giving requisite notice to the insurer, such dis-
claimer shall be effective only if the insurer establishes, by a pre-
ponderance of affirmative evidence that such lack of cooperation or
notice has resulted in actual prejudice to the insurer.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 52 of
Article 81 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and
1965 Cumulative Supplement), title "Revenue and Taxes", sub-title
"Collectors and Collections", changing the present requirement
that the collector's bond for collection of Baltimore City taxes
