AN ACT to add new Section 211H-4 to Article 89B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume), title "State Roads",
subtitle "Expenditure of Commission's Funds and Programming and
Scheduling of Highway Projects", to follow immediately after
Section 211H-3, amending the Twenty-Year Highway Need Study
of the State Roads Commission to show the need for improving
Mauldin Avenue, in the Town of North East, Maryland.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new Section 211H-4 be and it is hereby added to Article 89B
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Replacement Volume),
title "State Roads", subtitle "Expenditure of Commission's Funds
and Programming and Scheduling of Highway Projects", to follow
immediately after Section 211H-3 thereof and to read as follows:
211H.-4.
The official Twenty-Year Highway Need Study of the State Roads
Commission is hereby amended to show the need to widen, improve
and extend Mauldin Avenue, in the Town of North East, Maryland,
in order that such Avenue can tie into and merge with State Roads
272 on both the North and the South thereof within such Town.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
on June 1, 1966.

(Senate Bill 326)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 6 of
Article 33A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1965 Supple-
ment) , title "Eminent Domain", to provide that a property owner
may elect to place into evidence, in a condemnation proceeding,
the assessed value of the property, if such value is greater than
the appraised value as determined by the condemning authority.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 6 of Article 33A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1965 Supplement), title "Eminent Domain", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
