OF LAND FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREA-
TION AS SHALL BE DETERMINED JOINTLY BY THE COM-
MISSION OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND THE COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF HARFORD COUNTY.

Sec. 4. And be it further enacted, That for the purpose of paying
the interest on said notes and/or bonds and for redeeming said notes
and/or bonds as they mature, the County Commissioners of Harford
County shall annually levy a tax upon the assessable property of said
County sufficient to pay the annual interest on said notes and/or
bonds and to redeem said notes and/or bonds as they become due
until all of said notes and/or bonds shall mature and be redeemed.
The taxes so levied shall be collected in the same manner as other
taxes are levied and collected in said County.

Sec. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

(Senate Bill 192)

AN ACT to repeal Section 470 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Harford County (1965 Edition, being Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Harford County", subtitle
"Roads and Public Works", and to enact new Section 470 in lieu
thereof, to stand in the place of the section repealed; and to repeal
and re-enact, with amendments, Section 474 (a) of said Code, title,
and subtitle, authorizing the County Commissioners of Harford
County to acquire, maintain, and operate lands for the disposal of
refuse, garbage, rubbish, or other matter, and to construct, main-
tain, and operate incinerators or other refuse disposal plants and
centers for the disposal of such matter; to provide for fixing and
collecting fees or service charges for the use of such facilities and
for the proper maintenance thereof; to authorize the use of such
facilities by other persons and governments in the county; to au-
thorize the county to enter into agreements with incorporated
municipalities for disposal of municipal refuse, garbage, trash or
other matter; to authorize the county to appropriate or borrow
funds and to expend funds for land acquisition and for construction
and operation of facilities under this Act and to levy taxes there-
for; to make this Act supplemental to existing laws; charging the
Director of Public Works with the administration and execution
of the provisions of this Act; and relating generally to the disposal
of refuse, garbage, rubbish, or other matter in Harford County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 470 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County
(1965 Edition, being Article 13 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland), title "Harford County", subtitle "Roads and Public
Works", be and it is hereby repealed, and new Section 470 be and
it is hereby added in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section
