thence northerly along said boundary to its intersection with the
Robert Crain Highway (Route 3); thence northerly along the Robert
Crain Highway (Route 3) to its intersection with Johns Hopkins
Road; thence easterly and northerly along Johns Hopkins Road to
its intersection with St. Stephens Road; thence northerly from said
intersection on a line in prolongation of Bacon Ridge Branch of
South River to said Bacon Ridge Branch of South River; thence
northerly along said Branch to Waterbury Road; thence northerly
along Waterbury Road to its intersection with Indian Landing
Road; thence northerly along Indian Landing Road to its inter-
section with Generals Highway (Route 178); thence northerly along
Generals Highway (Route 178) to its intersection with Robert Crain
Highway (Route 3); thence northerly along Robert Crain Highway
(Route 3) to Severn Run; thence southerly along Severn Run and
the Severn River to the waters of the Chesapeake Bay; at the place
of beginning; and it shall elect one State Senator.
OF BEGIN-
NING; LESS THAT AREA LOCATED IN THE CITY OF AN-
NAPOLIS AND COMPRISING ITS EIGHTH ELECTION WARD
(MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN THE CITY CODE OF
ANNAPOLIS). IT SHALL ELECT ONE STATE SENATOR.

(e) Any person to be eligible for election to the Senate of Mary-
land from any of the Senatorial Districts designated in this section,
shall have resided in such district for a period of at least one year
prior to his election.

Subdistricts for the House of Delegates
47.

(a) Anne Arundel and Calvert Counties are divided into Sub-
districts for its delegation in the House of Delegates, as provided in
this section.

(b)    Delegate Subdistrict No. 1. for Anne Arundel County is
composed, of the same area described in Section 46(b) of this Article
for Senatorial District No. 6A; and it shall elect three Delegates.

(c)    Delegate Subdistrict No. 2 for Anne Arundel County is com-
posed of the same area described in Section 46(c) of this Article for
Senatorial District No. 6B; and it shall elect three Delegates.

(d)    Delegate Subdistrict No. 3 for Anne Arundel and Calvert
Counties is composed of the same area described in Section 46(d)
of this Article for Senatorial District No. 6C; and it shall elect three
Delegates
THAT PART OF THIS AREA LYING WITHIN ANNE
ARUNDEL COUNTY SHALL ELECT THREE DELEGATES,
AND THAT PART OF THIS AREA LYING WITHIN CALVERT
COUNTY SHALL ELECT ONE DELEGATE.

(e)    Any person to be eligible for election to the House of Dele-
gates of Maryland from any of the Delegate Subdistricts designated
in this section shall have resided in such district for a period of at
least one year prior to his election.

(f)    Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 42B(c) of this
Article, in Anne Arundel and Calvert Counties, subdistricts for the
House of Delegates may elect a minimum of not fewer than three
Delegates from any subdistrict.
