Liquor License as provided in this section, AND MAKING FUR-
THER PROVISION FOR THE PRIVILEGES OF THIS LICENSE
FOR A RESTAURANT.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 19 (k) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Beer,
Wine and Liquor Licenses," be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
19.
(k) In Talbot County bona fide hotels having 25 or more bed-
rooms located under one roof regularly serving meals or any restau-
rant seating at least 50 persons and which restaurant can show that
at least sixty per cent of the gross income is derived from the sale
of food, notwithstanding the other requirements of this article, and
otherwise [and] complying with the provisions of this article upon
the payment of an annual license fee of $1,000.00 shall be entitled to
serve liquors, wines and beers between the hours of 7 A.M. and 1 A.M.
on the day following, except on Sunday when no sales shall be al-
lowed. No sale of liquor as provided herein shall exceed one quart
and no sales shall be made at bars or counters. THIS LICENSE FOR
A RESTAURANT DOES NOT COVER 'PACKAGE SALES' OR
ANY OTHER FORM OF 'OFF SALE' OF ALCOHOLIC BEVER-
AGES.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1966.

CHAPTER 722
(House Bill 1216)
AN ACT to authorize the creation of a State debt in the aggregate
amount not to exceed one million two hundred and fifty thousand
dollars ($1,250,000.00) for the purpose of aiding in the construc-
tion of a convention hall in Ocean City, subject to the requirement
that Ocean City make available the land for the hall, and to add
new Sections 208A and 208B to the Code of Public Local Laws of
Worcester County (1961 Edition, being Article 24 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Worcester County," to
follow immediately after Section 208 thereof and to be under the
new subtitle "Ocean City Convention Hall Commission," creating
an Ocean City Convention Hall Commission to be appointed by the
Governor, providing generally for its members, powers, duties
and functions, making provision for the construction and operation
of a convention hall in Ocean City in cooperation with the State of
Maryland and the Mayor and City Council of Ocean City, provid-
ing a certain tax exemption for the Commission, and relating gen-
erally to the Ocean City Convention Hall Commission and the con-
struction and operation of a convention hall in Ocean City.
