$6,000 to the Tenth District Fire Department.
$6,000 to the Benedict Fire Department.
$6,000 to the Bel Alton Fire Department.
$6,000 TO THE BRYANS ROAD FIRE DEPARTMENT.
121B.
Each of the respective Departments receiving benefits [from this
Fire Tax] under Sections 120 and 121 of this Article shall, on or
before the 15th day of February of each year, submit to the [County
Commissioners of Charles County] Board of Fire and Rescue Com-
missioners of Charles County a financial report showing its receipts
[of Fire Tax monies] and disbursements of same for the previous
calendar year. In the event any of the above Departments maintains
its books on a fiscal year basis, then said financial report shall be
submitted within thirty (30) days from the end of its fiscal year.
121C.
In the event any one of the Fire Departments in Charles County
ceases to be an active fire-fighting organization, or if the funds
provided for herein are not used for the purposes set forth in
[Section 121,] Sections 120(e) and 121 of this Article, then the
County Commissioners of Charles County shall cease paying to that
Department [the funds provided for in Section 120 and said funds]
such funds and the same shall be held by the County Commissioners
and distributed proportionately among the Department assuming
coverage of that area.
121E.
No Department receiving benefits under Sections 120 and 121 of
this Article shall obligate itself for any capital expenditure, including
but not limited to the purchase of land, the purchase, erection or
modification of any building or structure, or the acquisition of
apparatus, without first obtaining the approval of the Charles County
Volunteer Firemen's Association and the Board of Fire and Rescue
Commissioners. In the event such approval is not first obtained the
Board may exclude the cost of any such capital expenditure from the
benefits of the Fire Tax otherwise payable to such Department by
the County Commissioners.
(a) The County Commissioners shall pay the sum of $2,000 an-
nually to each of the following rescue squads of the County:
1. The Indian Head Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad,
Inc.
2. The Potomac Heights Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue
Squad, Inc.
3. The Fifth District Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue
Squad, Inc.
4. The Benedict Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Inc.
5. The Waldorf Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Inc.
