Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 164A be and it is hereby added to the Code of
Public Local Laws of Worcester County (1961 Edition, being Article
24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Worcester
County", to follow immediately after Section 164 thereof, and to be
under the new sub-title "Land Records", to read as follows:

164A.

No title company or title insurance company or individual acting
on behalf of such company, unless represented by a member of the
Bar of Worcester County in good standing, shall prepare and/or file
any deeds, mortgages, leases, or any other papers involving any
interest in land in Worcester County. Nothing contained herein shall
prevent any company from insuring title to land in Worcester
County.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 654
(Senate Bill 438)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 584 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition),
being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "Police Commissioner", sub-heading
"Special Fund", amending the laws concerning the Police Depart-
ment of Baltimore City and the special fund in this Department in
order to amend the laws concerning the disposition by the Police
Commissioner of certain unclaimed motor vehicles in the custody
of the Police Department.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 584 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City
(1949 Edition), being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Police Commissioner",
sub-heading "Special Fund", be and it is hereby repealed and re-en-
acted, with amendments to read as follows:

584.

(a) Whenever the owner, or person, firm or corporation, entitled
to the possession of any motor vehicle, or part thereof, in the custody
of the Police Department of Baltimore City, cannot be located and
fails to claim said motor vehicle, or part thereof, for a period of
[three months] thirty days FORTY-FIVE DAYS after said motor
vehicle, or part thereof, came into the custody of the [said] Police
Department of Baltimore City, the same may be disposed of by the
Police Commissioner at public sale at some place which shall be con-
venient and accessible to the public, at any time between the hours
of 10 A.M. and 6 P.M., provided the time, place and terms of
