Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 12 of Article 100 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Replacement Volume), title "Work, Labor and Employment,"
subtitle "Employment of Minors," be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
12.
No minor under the age of 18 years shall be employed, permitted
or suffered to work in, about, or in connection with blast furnaces,
docks, wharves or slips [,] in the occupations of longshoring, steve-
doring, shipbuilding, shipbreaking or ship-repairing, or as pilots,
firemen or engineers upon any vessel or boat engaged in navigation
or commerce or at switch tending, gate tending, track repairing, or
as brakeman, fireman, engineer, motorman or conductor upon any
railroad, whether steam or electric or hydraulic, or in the erection
and repair of electric wires, in oiling or cleaning machinery in motion,
in the operation of emery wheels or any abrasive polishing wheel
where articles of the baser metals or iridium are manufactured, or
in any distillery, brewery or other establishment where malt or
alcoholic liquors are manufactured, packed, wrapped or bottled.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

CHAPTER 390
(House Bill 393)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 15 of
Article 78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition),
title "Public Works," subtitle "Board of Public Works," providing
for execution and approval of leases made covering State-owned
property for residence purposes to any State employee, agent,
servant or other individual in State service.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 15 of Article 78A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Public Works," subtitle "Board of Public
Works," be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
15.
Any real or personal property of the State of Maryland or of any
board, commission, department or agency thereof, and any legal or
equitable rights, interests, privileges or easements in, to, or over
the same, may be sold, leased, transferred, exchanged, granted or
otherwise disposed of to any person, firm, corporation, or to the
United States, or any agency thereof, or to any board, commission,
department or other agency of the State of Maryland for a con-
sideration adequate in the opinion of the Board of Public Works,
or to any county or municipality in the State subject to such condi-
tions as the Board of Public Works may impose. If said real or
personal property of the State of Maryland, disposed of hereunder,
