THE EIGHTH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT IS COMPOSED
OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this Act shall
be construed or applied to affect the seven Congressional Districts
of Maryland as now existing, on the effective date of this Act, or the
tenure of the several representatives from these seven Districts and
of the representative-at-large. The changes in the several Congres-
sional Districts are to be effective for the primary and general elec-
tions scheduled in the year 1966 and thereafter the Districts here
described are to be the Congressional Districts of Maryland at the
time the several representatives elected in 1966 qualify and take
office.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
