If the duty of support is based on a foreign support order, the
obligee has the additional remedies provided in the following sections.

32.

The obligee may register the foreign support order in a court
of this state in the manner, with the effect and for the purposes
herein provided.

The clerk of the court shall maintain a Registry of Foreign Sup-
port Orders in which he shall record foreign support orders.

The petition for registration shall be verified and shall set forth
the amount remaining unpaid and a list of any other states in which

The support order as confirmed shall have the same effect and may
be enforced as if originally entered in the court of this state. The
procedures for the enforcement thereof shall be as in civil cases,
including the power to punish the obligor for contempt as in the
case of other orders for payment of alimony, maintenance or support
entered in this state.

or circumstances is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect
