(House Bill 453)

AN ACT to repeal Section 100 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1964 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle
"Hours and Days for Sale," and to enact new Section 100 in lieu
thereof, to stand in the place of the section repealed; repealing
provisions for special Sunday licenses, and generally fixing the
hours for sales of alcoholic beverages in Howard County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 100 of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1964 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Hours and
Days for Sales," be and it is hereby repealed, and that new Section
100 be and it is hereby enacted in lieu thereof to stand in the place
of the section repealed, and to read as follows:

100.

In Howard County, notwithstanding any other provisions of this
subtitle, licensees may sell alcoholic beverages authorized by their
licenses between the hours of 6:00 A.M. and 2:00 A.M. of the next day,
Monday through Saturday, inclusive. No alcoholic beverage may be
sold between 2:00 A.M. Sunday and 6:00 A.M. Monday, except that
beer may be sold between 6 A.M. Sunday and 2:00 A.M. Monday.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to add new Section 89 (g) to Article 2B of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic Beverages," sub-
title "Hours and Days for Sale," to follow immediately after Sec-
tion 89 (f) thereof, permitting the sale of alcoholic beverages in
Howard County on New Years' Days, notwithstanding other
restrictions as to hours other than Sunday hours.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 89 (g) be and it is hereby added to Article 2B of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Alcoholic
Beverages," subtitle "Hours and Days for Sales," to follow im-
mediately after Section 89 (f) thereof, and to read as follows:
