Male deer with two or more
points to one antler, pro-
vided male deer with an
antler three or more inches
long, with the points meas-
uring from the top of the
skull as the deer is in life

During regular male deer season
only, if prescribed by the Commis-
sion.
May be hunted, pursued or killed
for a period of eight hunting days
beginning on that Friday immedi-
ately following Thanksgiving in
each and every year.
Deer, both sexes (bow and
arrow)
The Commission may prescribe an
open season for antlerless deer, by
special permit, at such times and
in such counties as the Commission
shall in its discretion prescribe by
regulation said antlerless deer
season to be concluded on the third
Saturday in December and the
Commission may consider, among
other factors, the deer population
surveys, crop damage, kill of pre-
vious seasons, car kill, and size,
weight, health, age and doe-fawn
ratios of deer in the said counties
in reaching such decision.
In counties having a bow and arrow
season, deer of either sex may be
killed between September 1 and
December 31, by means of a bow
and arrow.
In any county or election district of the State, the Commission
may reduce the deer population in areas suffering from crop damage
after thorough investigation shows that such action is justified.
The method of reducing the deer population shall be at the discretion
of the Commission except that wherever feasible trapping shall be
preferred. The deer which may be taken under this provision shall
be disposed of by the Director of the Commission as he may deem
advisable and for the best interests of the State. Notwithstanding
any court order to the contrary, no person may shoot, kill or other-
wise destroy deer during the night-time or during any period of
darkness by the use of a search-light or any kind of spotlight.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.
