AN ACT TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT, WITH AMENDMENTS,
SECTION 18 (K) OF ARTICLE 2B OF THE ANNOTATED
CODE OF MARYLAND (1964 SUPPLEMENT), TITLE
"ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES," SUBTITLE "BEER, WINE AND
LIQUOR LICENSES;" AND TO REPEAL SECTION 19 (I) OF
THE SAID ARTICLE AND SUBTITLE OF THE CODE, AND
TO ENACT A NEW SECTION 19 (I) IN LIEU THEREOF, TO
STAND IN PLACE OF THE SECTION SO REPEALED, TO
CHANGE THE LICENSE FEES IN PRINCE GEORGE'S
COUNTY FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR
LICENSES TO PACKAGE STORES AND TO CHANGE THE
FEES AND THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ISSUANCE OF BEER,
WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSES IN THE COUNTY TO
HOTELS, RESTAURANTS AND FOR RACE TRACK PREM-
ISES AND RELATING GENERALLY TO ALCOHOLIC BEV-
ERAGES IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That Section 18 (k) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-

land (1957 Edition and 1964 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Bev-

erages," subtitle "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses—Class B (hotel and restau-

sale)," be and it is hereby repealed and re enacted with amendments;

and Section 19 (i) of Article 2B of said Code, subtitle Beer, Wine

and Liquor Licenses—Class B (hotel and restaurants) be and it

is hereby repealed; and that a new Section 19 (i) be and it is hereby

enacted in lieu thereof, to stand in the place of the section so re-
pealed and to be under the same subtitle, and all to read as follows:

THAT SECTION 18 (K) OF ARTICLE 2B OF THE ANNOTATED
CODE OF MARYLAND (1964 SUPPLEMENT), TITLE "ALCO-
HOLIC BEVERAGES," SUBTITLE "BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR
LICENSES," BE AND IT IS HEREBY REPEALED AND RE-
ENACTED, WITH AMENDMENTS, AND THAT SECTION 19 (I)
OF THE SAID ARTICLE AND SUBTITLE OF THE CODE, BE
AND IT IS HEREBY REPEALED; AND THAT NEW SECTION
19 (I) BE AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED IN LIEU THEREOF,
TO STAND IN THE PLACE OF THE SECTION SO REPEALED,
AND ALL TO READ AS FOLLOWS:

annual fee for such a license in Prince George's County; and to

repeal existing Section 19 (i) of Article 2B of said Code, subtitle

"Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses—Class B (hotels and restau-

rants)" and to enact a new Section 19 (i), in lieu thereof, to stand

in the place of the section repealed and to be under the same sub-

title "Beer, Wine and Liquor Licenses—Class B (hotel and restau-
rants)," authorizing the issuance of Class B and Class BH licenses
in Prince George's County, setting the annual fee for such licenses
and the requirements and standards for applicants therefor, creat-

ing a new special Class B license to be issued in Prince George's

County, setting the annual fee and requirements and standards
for applicants therefor, authorizing the Board to perform certain
functions and granting it certain powers in connection therewith,
permitting certain Class B licenses to sell alcoholic beverages on

Sunday under certain conditions, and relating generally to Class

B beer, wine and liquor licenses in Prince George's County.
