59--111.

All members of the district council, the Planning Board, the

technical staff of the Maryland National Capital Park and Planning
Commission, and the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission

shall file with the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's

County on or within two weeks before the fifth day of January and

July of each year, a statement under oath setting forth in detail

the location and amount of land, or interests in land, in Prince

George's County held, either directly or indirectly, by said persons.

No such person shall participate in any recommendation or decision
involving the reclassification of any land or a special exception relat-

ing to any land held by himself, a member of his immediate family,

a business partner or associate, or a corporation in which he owns

stock. Any person found guilty of violating this subsection shall,

upon conviction, be subject to a fine not to exceed $10,000 and/or

confinement in the House of Correction not to exceed one (1) year.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That Sections 19, 68 (b), 68 (c) 70, 83 (b) 85 (c), 85 (i),

and 85 (j) of subtitle 59 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince

George's County (1963 Edition, being Article 17 of the Public Local

Laws of Maryland), enacted as Chapter 780 of the Acts of 1959 and
Chapter 630 of the Acts of 1963, title "Prince George'
s County,"

subtitle "Park and Planning Commission," be, and they hereby are,

repealed and re enacted to read as follows:

59-19. Penalty provisions.

Every act or omission designated as a misdemeanor in this sub-
title, unless otherwise provided, shall be punishable before any trial
magistrate or the circuit court of the county in which the offense
is committed. It shall be brought by warrant or indictment upon the
oath or information of any member of the commission or of any
employee thereof, or any other person. Upon conviction thereof, the
offender shall be subject to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars
($100) or to thirty (30) days' imprisonment in the county jail, or
both, in the discretion of the court. If such an act or omission is of
a continuing nature, or is persisted in, in violation of the provisions
of this subtitle, or of any regulation enacted or decision made under
the powers granted in this subtitle, each and every day during which
such act or omission continues or is persisted in shall be deemed a
separate misdemeanor.

59-68.

(A) AUTHORIZED: EXTENT. THE COMMISSION IS AU-
THORIZED AND EMPOWERED TO MAKE AND ADOPT AND,
FROM TIME TO TIME, AMEND, EXTEND, OR ADD TO, A
GENERAL PLAN FOR THE PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT OF
THE DISTRICT. THE PLAN, INCLUDING MAPS, PLATS,
CHARTS AND DESCRIPTIVE MATTER SHALL SHOW THE
COMMISSION'S RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE DEVELOP-
MENT OF THE DISTRICT, WHICH MAY INCLUDE, AMONG
OTHER THINGS, SUCH MATTERS AS (1) THE LOCATION,
ARRANGEMENT, CHARACTER AND EXTENT OF ROADS,
WATERWAYS, WATERFRONTS, BEACHES, DOCKS AND
