penalties for the violation of such rules and regulations not to exceed
a fine of $500.00 or imprisonment for not more than ninety (90) days
or both such fine and imprisonment.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal and re enact, with amendments, Section 28 (i) (H)

of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964 Supple-

ment), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Local Licenses and

License Provisions"; AND TO ENACT NEW SECTION 28 (H)
IN LIEU THEREOF, TO STAND IN THE PLACE OF THE
SECTION REPEALED, AND TO REPEAL AND RE ENACT
WITH AMENDMENTS SECTION 28 (I) THEREOF; and to
repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 2 of Chapter 795
of the Acts of 1963 REPEALING A NOW OBSOLETE AND
NON OPERATIVE PROVISION, PROVIDING FOR AND RE-
LATING GENERALLY TO A NEW CLASS OF LICENSES, TO
BE KNOWN AS CABARET LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF
ANY AND ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WITHIN THE 1,
2, 3, 4, 5, 7 AND 8 ELECTION DISTRICTS OF ANNE ARUNDEL
COUNTY, amending the alcoholic beverage laws with particular

respect to certain limitations and restrictions on licenses in Anne

Arundel County and extending the effective date of certain prior

amendments to these laws . TO REPEAL AND RE-ENACT, WITH
AMENDMENTS, SECTION 28 (I) OF ARTICLE 2B OF THE
ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1964 SUPPLEMENT),
TITLE "ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES," SUBTITLE "LOCAL
LICENSES AND LICENSE PROVISIONS"; AND TO REPEAL
AND RE-ENACT, WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTION 2 OF
CHAPTER 795 OF THE ACTS OF 1963, AMENDING THE
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LAWS WITH PARTICULAR RE-
SPECT TO CERTAIN LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
ON LICENSES IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY AND EX-
TENDING THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF CERTAIN PRIOR
AMENDMENTS TO THESE LAWS.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 28 (i) (H) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1964 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitle "Local

Licenses and License Provisions," be and it is hereby repealed and

re enacted, with amendments THAT NEW SECTION 28 (H) BE
AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED IN LIEU THEREOF TO STAND
IN THE PLACE OF THE SECTION SO REPEALED; AND THAT
SECTION 28 (I) THEREOF BE AND IT IS HEREBY REPEALED
AND RE ENACTED WITH AMENDMENTS; and that Section 2
of Chapter 795 of the Acts of 1963 be and it is hereby repealed and
re enacted, with amendments, both ALL to read as follows:
