dollars ($50.00), if the unculled oysters shall have been taken with
handscrape or dredge. In the discretion of the court, such violator
may be confined in jail for a period not less than thirty days nor
more than six months, or both imprisoned and fined, and in addition
to such fine or imprisonment any oysters in the possession of said
person taken or held in violation of the provisions of Section 699,
shall be [confiscated and] culled or reculled, as the case may be, and
those oysters which are of an illegal size shall be returned to the
natural bars or beds under the supervision of the Department of
Tidewater Fisheries at the expense of the violator; and the boat
used in connection with any of the violations of said Section 699
shall be, by the court trying the case, held as security for the pay-
ment of the costs and fine until same are paid. In addition to the
above penalties the license under which the violator operated may
be suspended or revoked by said court.
Any packer, commission man, boatman or other person who shall
conspire or agree with any other person to evade any of the provi-
sions of said Section 699 or who shall participate in any such viola-
tions shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to the penalties
applicable to the violations occurring under the provisions of said
section.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1965.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 581 through 597 of Article 43 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Health", sub-
title "Milk and Milk Products", and to enact new Sections 84
through 97 to Article 97 of said Code (1964 Replacement Volume),
title "Weights and Measures", to follow immediately after Section
83 thereof and to be under the new sub-title "Milk and Other
Fluid Dairy Products—Cost", to recodify the law providing a
system of receiving, weighing, measuring, sampling and testing of
milk or other fluid dairy products for the purpose of determining
its sale price to be paid the producer.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 581 through 597 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Milk and
Milk Products", be and they are hereby repealed; and to enact new
Sections 84 through 97 to Article 97 of said Code (1964 Replace-
ment Volume), title "Weights and Measures", to follow immediately
after Section 83 thereof and to be under the new sub-title "Milk and
Other Fluid Dairy Products—Cost", and all to read as follows:
84—GENERAL—
The Maryland State Board of Agriculture or its authorized agent
shall administer the provisions of this sub-title and shall have
