Amendment No. 5—In line 9 of Section 32G of the third reading file
bill, strike out the word "and" and insert in lieu thereof the following:

Amendment No. 6—In line 10 of Section 32G of the third reading file
bill, immediately following the word "and" insert the following: '(except
as to salary provisions) he shall be subject to all the".

Amendment No. 7—Following line 11 of Section 32G of the third
reading file bill, insert the following new sections:

"47 (c-4) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this section:

(A)   The County Commissioners of Prince George's County are au-
thorized to pay from any amounts received from the State Comptroller
under the provisions of subsection (c-1) hereof, in addition to the sums
provided by Section 282A of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County, an amount not to exceed two thousand five hundred
dollars ($2500) per annum to each of the judges of the circuit court of
the seventh judicial circuit of Maryland who resides in Prince George's
County, and an amount not to exceed one thousand two hundred fifty
dollars ($1250) per annum to each of the judges of the seventh judicial
circuit who is a nonresident of Prince George's County and who sits in
the Circuit Court for Prince George's County at the request of the resi-
dent judges of Prince George's County.

(B)   The County Council of Montgomery County is authorized to pay
from any amounts received from the State Comptroller under the provi-
sions of subsection (c-1) hereof, in addition to the sums provided by
Section 7-16 of the Montgomery County Code, 1960, an amount not to
exceed two thousand five hundred dollars ($2500) per annum to each of
the judges of the circuit court of the sixth judicial circuit who resides
in Montgomery County.

(C)   The County Commissioners of Frederick County are directed to
pay from any amounts received from the State Comptroller under the
provisions of this subsection (c-1), in addition to the sums provided by
Section 5-8 of the Frederick County Code, 1959, an amount not to exceed
two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per annum to each of the
judges of the circuit court of the sixth judicial circuit who reside in
Frederick County, and who were serving in such positions prior to
January 1, 1964."

The county commissioners are authorized to pay to each of the judges
of the circuit court for the sixth judicial circuit who reside in the county
a sum not to exceed four thousand five hundred dollars annually, in
addition to the salary received by each judge from the state. Such pay-
ments shall be made in equal monthly installments. The county commis-
sioners are hereby authorized to levy upon the assessable property of the
county a tax sufficient to pay such amounts. This section applies only to
judges who are serving in such positions prior to January 1, 1964."
