President, Clark, Dean, Graham, Hall, Hepbron, Hughes (G.), Hughes (H.), Malkus,
Nock, North, Pine, Roney, Snyder, Weant, Wheatley.                                      Total 16.

Negative

Senators—

Alton, Bertorelli, Curran, Derr, Dorf, Gude, Hodges, Mach, Parran, Phoebus, Raley,
Wheatley.                                                                                                     Total 12.

Amendment No. 3—On page 2 of the third reading file bill after
line 11 of Section 263 insert the following:

"263A.

"(a) There is hereby established a program of State scholarships
for students enrolled in Loyola College. Two students from each senatorial
district of the State, appointed according to the provisions of Section 282
of this article, shall be educated for each academic year by the College free
of charge for tuition, room and board.

"(b) In addition, one student from each senatorial district of the
State appointed according to the provisions of Section 282 of this article,
shall be educated for each academic year by the College free of charge for
tuition.

"263B.

"(a) There is hereby established a program of State scholarships for
students enrolled in Mount Saint Agnes College. Two students from each
senatorial district of the State, appointed according to the provisions of
Section 282 of this article, shall be educated for each academic year by
the College free of charge for tuition, room and board.

"(b) In addition, one student from each senatorial district of the
State, appointed according to the provisions of Section 282 of this article,
shall be educated for each academic year by the College free of charge for
tuition.

"263C.

"(a) There is hereby established a program of State scholarships for
students enrolled in the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. Two students
from each senatorial district of the State, appointed according to the
provisions of Section 282 of this article, shall be educated for each aca-
demic year by the College free of charge for tuition room and board.

"(b) In addition, one student from each senatorial district of the
State, appointed according to the provisions of Section 282 of this article,
shall be educated for each academic year by the College free of charge for
tuition.

"263D.

"(a) There is hereby established a program of State scholarships for
students enrolled in Saint Joseph's College. Two students from each
senatorial district of the State, appointed according to the provisions of
Section 282 of this article, shall be educated for each academic year by
the College free of charge for tuition, room and board.
