RECESS

At 10:17 o'clock P. M., on motion of Senator Wheatley, the Senate took
a recess until 10:20 o'clock P. M.

AFTER RECESS

At 10:20 o'clock P. M., the Senate resumed its session.
Present at roll call were the following Senators:

Hepbron, Hodges, Hughes (G.), Hughes (H.), Mach, Malkus, Nock, North, Parran,

REPORT OF STANDING COMMITTEE

Senator Wheatley asked that the rules be suspended in order to report
the following bill and two-thirds of the Senators-elect, voting in the
affirmative, the rules were suspended by yeas and nays as follows:

President, Alton, Bertorelli, Clark, Curran, Dean, Derr, Dorf, Graham, Gude, Hall,
Hepbron, Hodges, Hughes (G.), Hughes (H.), Mach, Malkus, Nock, North, Parran,
Phoebus, Pine, Raley, Roney, Sanford, Snyder, Weant, Welcome, Wheatley—Total 29.

Negative—None

Senator Wheatley, for the Finance Committee, reported favorably,
House Bill No. 63—By the Caroline County Delegation:

Subject: "ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES," subtitle "BEER LI-
CENSES," TO AUTHORIZE THE ISSUANCE OF CLASS D BEER
LICENSES FOR TAVERNS IN CAROLINE COUNTY.

Favorable report adopted.

Which was read the second time and ordered passed to its third
reading.

Two-thirds of all the Senators-elect, voting in the affirmative, the
rules were suspended by yeas and nays as follows, and the bill put upon
its third reading and final passage.
