INTRODUCTION OF BILLS
Senate Bill No. 42—By Senators Malkus and Weant:

A Bill entitled: An Act to add new Section 482 to Article 48A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1963 Supplement), title "Insurance Code,"
sub-title "28. Casualty Insurance", to follow immediately after Section 481
thereof creating the motor vehicle liability security fund to provide for
payment of unpaid claims by injured persons and policyholders under in-
surance policies issued by companies becoming insolvent or unable to pay
claims for other reason, providing for the operation of the fund, imposing
an assessment on premiums of motor vehicle insurance issued by such com-
panies and relating to the motor vehicle liability security fund.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Committee on
Rules.
