SEC. 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, THAT ANY PER-
SON WHO PRIOR TO JUNE 1, 1965, HOLDS A LICENSE AS A
SALESMAN UNDER THIS SUB-TITLE, AND WHO PRIOR TO
SAID DATE IS UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE, SHALL BE EN-
TITLED TO RENEW HIS LICENSE UNDER THIS SUB-TITLE,
NOTWITHSTANDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 217 (B)
HEREIN REQUIRING ANY PERSON TO BE AT LEAST 21
YEARS OF AGE FOR LICENSING AS A SALESMAN.

Sec. 2. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1964. 1965.

CHAPTER 81
(Senate Bill 41)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
119(3) (a), 122, 134(b), 162(a) and 172 of Article 66½ of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1963 Supplement),
title "Motor Vehicles", sub-titles respectively, "Motor Vehicle Fi-
nancial Responsibility", and "Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment
Fund", to increase the mandatory minimum amounts of financial
responsibility required for bodily injuries under the motor vehicle
laws and making corresponding changes in the amounts payable
for bodily injuries under the Unsatisfied Claim and Judgment
Fund Law.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 119(3) (a), 122, 134(b), 162(a) and 172 of Article
66½ of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1963
Supplement), title "Motor Vehicles", sub-titles respectively, "Motor
Vehicle Financial Responsibility", and "Unsatisfied Claim and Judg-
ment Fund", be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

119(3).

(a) Every judgment herein referred to shall for the purposes of
this article be deemed satisfied:

(1)  When [ten] fifteen thousand dollars [($10,000.00)] ($15,-
000.00)
has been credited upon any judgment rendered in excess of
that amount for bodily injury to or the death of one person as the
result of any one accident; or

(2)   When subject to said limit of [$10,000.00] $15,000.00 as to
one person, the sum of [$20,000.00] $30,000.00 has been credited
upon any judgment or judgments rendered in excess of that amount
for injury to or the death of more than one person as the result of
any one accident; or

(3)   When $5,000.00 has been credited upon any judgment or judg-
ments rendered in excess of that amount for damage to property of
others as a result of any one accident.
