SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET—FISCAL YEAR 1965

GENERAL FUNDS
Amendments to Senate Bill No. 1 and/or House Bill No. 1

AMENDMENT NO. 1—Contingent on the enactment of Senate Bill
No. 87 repealing Sections 276 and 277 of Article 77 of the 1957 edition of the
Annotated Code, on page 60 of the printed bill under the heading "State
Aided Educational Institutions" and in the item "13.04.10.04 Charlotte Hall
School" after the words "Charlotte Hall School" strike out the following:
"In return for the allowance, Charlotte Hall shall furnish 29 scholarships,
provided by Article 77, Sections 276 and 277 of the 1957 Annotated Code,
including tuition, board and room rent."

AMENDMENT NO. 2—On page 58 of the printed bill under the head-
ing "State Department of Education" under the subheading "Aid to Educa-
tion" under "Aid per Pupil" and after the line General Fund Appropriation
28,434,800 insert the following footnote: "These funds are to be made
available to the new categories of "Aid to Education" as set forth in Senate
Bill No. 33 and/or House Bill No. 30 and contingent on enactment of either
of these bills."

AMENDMENT NO. 3—On page 58 of the printed bill under the head-
ing "State Department of Education" under the subheading "Aid to Educa-
tion" under "Aid per Classroom" and after the line General Fund Appro-
priation 30,877,000 insert the following footnote: "These funds are to be
made available to the new categories of "Aid to Education" as set forth in
Senate Bill No. 33 and/or House Bill No. 30 and contingent on enactment of
either of these bills."

AMENDMENT NO. 4—On page 58 of the printed bill under the head-
ing "State Department of Education" under the subheading "Aid to Edu-
cation" under "Equalization Aid" and after the line General Fund Appro-
priation 34,228,014 insert the following footnote: "These funds are to be
made available to the new categories of "Aid to Education" as set forth in
Senate Bill No. 33 and/or House Bill No. 30 and contingent on enactment of
either of these bills."

AMENDMENT NO. 5—On page 58 of the printed bill under the head-
ing "State Department of Education" under the subheading "Aid to Edu-
cation" under "Part Payment of Salaries" and after the line General Fund
Appropriation 3,771,092 insert the following footnote: "These funds are to
be made available to the new categories of "Aid to Education" as set forth
in Senate Bill No. 33 and/or House Bill No. 30 and contingent on enactment
of either of these bills."

To become available immediately upon
the passage of this budget, to supple-
ment appropriations for the fiscal
year 1964 in order to provide for a de-

butions for school teachers.
