able, expedient or proper, the said court, on application by any of
the parties interested, and on proper parties defendants being made,
may, according to the rules of equity, proceed to adjudge and decree
that such conveyance or lease be confirmed and made valid from the
time of execution of the same, to every effect, intent and purpose,
as if the [feme covert] infant married person at the said execution
were of the full age of twenty-one years.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 62
(Senate Bill 96)

AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of
Worcester County to issue and sell serial maturity coupon bonds
upon the faith and credit of the County in an amount not exceeding
Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000.00) for the
purpose of building and equipping one new ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL, KNOWN AS Ocean City School and , AND FOR
expanding facilities at ONE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND
ONE HIGH SCHOOL, KNOWN RESPECTIVELY AS Flower
Street School and Worcester High School; MAKING FURTHER
PROVISION FOR THE POSSIBLE EXPENDITURE OF EX-
CESS FUNDS THEREFROM; authorizing the levy of taxes on
the assessable property in said County in an amount sufficient to
provide funds for the payment of the principal and interest of
said bonds as they mature and become payable; providing for the
expenditure of the proceeds of the sale of the bonds upon the joint
order of the County Commissioners of Worcester County and the
Board of Education of Worcester County; providing for the execu-
tion of all contracts for said projects jointly by the County Com-
missioners of Worcester County and the Board of Education of
Worcester County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the County Commissioners of Worcester County be and they
are hereby authorized and empowered to issue at one time or from
time to time, upon the full faith and credit of said County, serial
maturity coupon bonds in an amount or amounts not exceeding in the
aggregate Seven Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars ($750,000.00)
for the purpose of constructing or aiding in the construction, making
additions and improvements to, and equipping, on sites now owned
by the Board of Education of Worcester County and/or on any land
in Worcester County hereafter acquired by said Board for that
purpose from the proceeds of said bonds, one new elementary school
, KNOWN AS OCEAN CITY SCHOOL, and FOR expanding facili-
ties at one elementary school and one high school.
, KNOWN RE-
SPECTIVELY AS FLOWER STREET SCHOOL AND WORCES-
TER HIGH SCHOOL.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That any bonds issued under
the provisions of this Act shall be coupon form, but may be made
