Sub-Title 10

Effective Date and, Repealer
10
101. Effective Date.

This Article shall become effective at 12:01 a. m. on February 1,
1964. It applies to transactions entered into and events occurring
after that time on that date.

10102. Specific Repealer; Provision for Transition.

(1) The following laws are hereby repealed to the extent specified:
Article 83, Sections 19 through 96, Uniform Sales Act.

Article 13, Sections 3 through 8 and 15 through 211, Uniform
Negotiable Instruments Act.

Article 11, Sections 118 through 134, Bank Collection Code.
Article 83, Sections 97 through 101, Bulk Sales Act.

Article 14,, Sections 1 through 43 and 51 through 55, Uniform
Bills of Lading Act.

Article 14A, Sections 1 through 49 and 56 through 60, Uniform
Warehouse Receipts Act.

Article 23, Sections 100 through 122, Uniform, Stock Transfer
Act.

Article 37A, Sections 2 through 13, Uniform Fiduciaries Act.
Article 53, Section 26, Agricultural Liens.

Article 21, Section 102, Chattel Mortgages on Railroad Equip-
ment.

Article 21, Sections 41 through 65, Bills of Sale and Chattel
Mortgages.

Article 23, Section 378, Corporate Mortgages.

Article 21, Sections 66 through 67, Conditional Sales Contracts.

Article 2, Sections 21 through 29, Factors Lien Act.

Article 8, Section 1, Assignment of Accounts Receivable Statute.

Article 95½, Sections 1 through 20, Uniform Trust Receipts Act.

(2) Transactions validly entered into before the effective date
specified in Section 10
101 and the rights, duties and interests
flowing from them remain valid thereafter and may be terminated,
completed, consummated or enforced as required or permitted by any
statute or other law amended or repealed by this Article as though
such repeal or amendment had not occurred.

10103. General Repealer.

Except as provided in the following Section, all laws and parts of
laws inconsistent with this Article are hereby repealed.

10104. Laws Not Repealed.

(1) Sub-title 7 on Documents of Title does not repeal or modify
any laws prescribing the form or contents of documents of title
