886 LAWS OF MARYLAND [CH. 538 Sub-title 7 Warehouse Receipts, Bills of Lading and Part 1 7—101. Short Title. This Sub-title shall be known and may be cited as Uniform Com- 7—102. Definitions and Index of Definitions. (1) In this Sub-title, unless the context otherwise requires: (a) "Bailee" means the person who by a warehouse receipt, bill (b) "Consignee" means the person named in a bill to whom or to (c) "Consignor" means the person named in a bill as the person (d) "Delivery order" means a written order to deliver goods (e) "Document" means document of title as defined in the general (f) "Goods" means all things which are treated as movable for the (g) "Issuer" means a bailee who issues a document except that in (h) "Warehouseman" is a person engaged in the business of stor- (2) Other definitions applying to this Sub-title or to specified "Duly negotiate."
