hereof, (C) TWO MILLION DOLLARS ($2,000,000.00) OF SUCH
PROCEEDS (LESS SO MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE NECES-
SARY, IN ADDITION TO THE PREMIUMS REALIZED FROM
THE SALE, IF ANY, FOR THE COST OF ISSUANCE, INCLUD-
ING THE EXPENSE OF ENGRAVING, PRINTING, ADVERTIS-
ING, ATTORNEYS' FEES, AND ALL OTHER INCIDENTAL
EXPENSES CONNECTED THEREWITH) shall be used for ex-
tending, enlarging, developing and improving the general park and
recreational system and facilities of the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore (EXCEPT IN THE AREA GENERALLY REFERRED
TO AS THE JONES FALLS VALLEY), including, but not limited
to, the acquisition, by purchase or condemnation or any other legal
means, of land or property, or any rights therein, in the City of
Baltimore,; including, but not limited to, the area generally referred
to as the Jones Falls Valley; the construction and erection of builds
ings, structures and facilities; the construction and installation of
roads, driveways, parking areas, water, sewerage, electrical and
other utilities; the acquisition and installation of equipment for any
and all new facilities authorized to be constructed or erected under
the provisions hereof; the landscaping of new park and recreational
areas authorized to be acquired under the provisions hereof; secur-
ing architectural and engineering services and surveys, and for any
other activities relating to planning for any of the purposes above
mentioned; and for doing any and all things necessary, proper or
expedient in connection with or pertaining to any or all of the mat-
ters or things hereinbefore mentioned.; AND

(D) THREE MILLION DOLLARS ($3,000,000.00) OF SUCH
PROCEEDS (LESS SO MUCH THEREOF AS MAY BE NECES-
SARY, IN ADDITION TO THE PREMIUMS REALIZED FROM
THE SALE, IF ANY, FOR THE COST OF ISSUANCE, INCLUD-
ING THE EXPENSE OF ENGRAVING, PRINTING, ADVERTIS-
ING, ATTORNEYS' FEES, AND ALL OTHER INCIDENTAL
EXPENSES CONNECTED THEREWITH) SHALL BE USED
FOR ACQUISITION, BY PURCHASE OR CONDEMNATION OR
ANY OTHER LEGAL MEANS, OF LAND OR PROPERTY, OR
ANY RIGHTS THEREIN, IN THE AREA IN BALTIMORE CITY
GENERALLY REFERRED TO AS THE JONES FALLS VALLEY
AND FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF
SUCH LAND AND PROPERTY FOR GENERAL PARK PUR-
POSES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE CONSTRUC-
TION AND ERECTION OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND
FACILITIES; THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF
ROADS, DRIVEWAYS, PARKING AREAS, WATER, SEWER-
AGE, ELECTRICAL AND OTHER UTILITIES; THE ACQUISI-
TION AND INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT FOR ANY AND
ALL NEW FACILITIES AUTHORIZED TO BE CONSTRUCTED
OR ERECTED UNDER THE PROVISIONS HEREOF; THE
LANDSCAPING OF NEW PARK AND RECREATIONAL AREAS
AUTHORIZED TO BE ACQUIRED UNDER THE PROVISIONS
HEREOF; SECURING ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING
SERVICES AND SURVEYS, AND FOR ANY OTHER ACTIVE
TIES RELATING TO PLANNING FOR ANY OF THE PUR-
POSES ABOVE MENTIONED; AND FOR DOING ANY AND
ALL THINGS NECESSARY, PROPER OR EXPEDIENT IN CON-
NECTION WITH OR PERTAINING TO ANY OR ALL OF THE
MATTERS OR THINGS HEREINBEFORE MENTIONED.
