follow immediately after Section 8 thereof, recodifying and chang-
ing Code references to provisions relating to insurance on the
life of a husband for the benefit of his wife now found in Article
48A of said Code.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 165 of Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Insurance," subtitle "Life, Accident and Health
Insurance," subheading "In General," be and it is hereby re-
numbered and recodified, said section hereafter to be numbered as
Section 8A of Article 45 of the said Code, title "Husband and Wife,"
said Section 8A to follow immediately after Section 8 thereof.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to renumber and recodify Section 222 of Article 48A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title "Insurance,"
subtitle "Surety, Casualty, Liability and Compensation Insurance,"
said section hereafter to be renumbered as Section 10A of Article
90 of the said Code, title "Sureties," subtitle "Counter Security,"
to follow immediately after Section 10 thereof, recodifying and
changing Code references to the liability of corporations as surety

under bonds in cases where the corporation acts under its own.

bond as trustees or in some other fiduciary relationship, which
provisions are now found in Article 48A of the said Code. CHANG-
ING CODE REFERENCES TO PROVISIONS RELATING TO
THE LIABILITY OF CORPORATIONS AS SURETY UNDER
BONDS IN CASES WHERE THE CORPORATION ACTS UN-
DER ITS OWN BOND AS TRUSTEE OR IN SOME OTHER
FIDUCIARY RELATIONSHIP, WHICH PROVISIONS ARE
NOW FOUND IN ARTICLE 48A OF THE SAID CODE.
