(House Bill 891)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 8-48 of
Chapter 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick County
(1959 Edition, being Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland), title "Frederick County," subtitle "Finance and
Taxation," subheading "Article V. County Auditor," amending the
law with regard to the publication of the annual report of the
county auditor in Frederick County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 8-48 of Chapter 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Frederick County (1959 Edition, being Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Frederick County," subtitle
"Finance and Taxation," subheading "Article V. County Auditor,"
be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

8-48.

The county commissioners shall, [after asking bids from practical
printers and accepting the lowest responsible bid,] publish at least
two thousand copies of the annual report of the county auditor [and
shall distribute by mail not less than one thousand copies to repre-
sentative citizens of the county and place the remaining copies of
the report in their office to be distributed in such manner as they
may adopt] which copies shall be available at the Court House for
interested citizens of the County, and shall levy sufficient taxes to
pay for the cost of same.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections 478, 496
and 500 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's County," subtitle
"County Treasurer," correcting certain errors in the local laws of
Prince George's County relating to the County Treasurer.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 478, 496 and 500 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Prince George's County (1953 Edition, being Article 17 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Prince George's
County," subtitle "County Treasurer," be and the same are hereby
repealed and re-enacted with amendments to read as follows:
