Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect

CHAPTER 495
(House Bill 586)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 5 (e) of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition), title
"Elections," subtitle "Supervisors of Elections and Employees,"
providing that the chief clerk of the Board of Supervisors of Elec-
tions in Prince George's County shall receive an annual salary of
$5,200.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 5 (e) of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition), title "Elections," subtitle "Supervisors of Elections
and Employees," be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

5.

(e) The County Commissioners of Prince George's County may
provide supplementary funds for the payment of compensation or
other expenses which had not been included in the original appro-
priation; provided, however, that no salaries of permanently em-
ployed personnel shall be changed during any fiscal year. The chief
clerk of the Board shall receive an annual salary of $5,200.00.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 496

(House Bill 603)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 36 (a) of
Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supplement),
title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Concealed Weapons,"
making effective in Prince George's County AND IN MONT-
GOMERY COUNTY the provisions of the concealed weapons law
concerning the carrying of a dangerous or deadly weapon by a
minor between certain hours.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 36 (a) of Article 27 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1962 Supplement), title "Crimes and Punishments," subtitle "Con-
