viding an expense allowance of $400 to the Allegany County Treas-
urer until March 31, 1967.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 51 (b) of Article 25 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1957 Edition), title "County Commissioners", sub-title
"County Treasurers", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:
51.
(b) The county treasurer of Allegany County shall receive an
annual salary of $2,000.00, and an allowance for expenses incidental
to his office, not to exceed $400 per year only during the term of
office commencing in the year 1963.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(Senate Bill 562)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 6, 9,
10(e) and 12 of Article 51 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Edition and 1962 Supplement), title "Juries", sub-title
"Qualification and Selection of Jurors", and to add new sub-sec-
tion (h) to said Section 10, providing that the method of selection
of jurors in Caroline, Kent, Queen Anne's, and Talbot Counties
shall be as provided by local law.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 6, 9, 10 (e) and 12 of Article 51 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1962 Supplement), title "Juries",
sub-title "Qualification and Selection of Jurors", be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and that new sub-
section (h) be and it is hereby added to said Section 10, and all to
read as follows:

It shall be the duty of the clerk of the county commissioners for
each of the counties of this State to make out and file with the clerks
of the circuit courts for said counties, not less than twenty days
before the beginning of the second regular terms of said courts after
each and every general election a fair and complete list of the male
taxable inhabitants or residents of said county, whose names appear
on the tax books of said county, and who are not known to said clerk
to be under the age of twenty-five years, and to which said lists so to
be made and filed with the said clerks, respectively, shall append a
certificate that said list is fully and fairly made; and for making such
list the said clerk shall receive such compensation as the county com-
missioners shall deem right and proper; and for failure to perform
