CHAPTER 11

(Senate Bill 32)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 39B(b)
of Article 88A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment), title "State Department of Public Welfare", sub-title
"Maryland Children's Center and Southern Maryland Children's
Center", correcting an error in the law relating to the Advisory
Board of the Southern Maryland Children's Center.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 39B (b) of Article 88A of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1962 Supplement), title "State Department of Public Wel-
fare", sub-title "Maryland Children's Center and Southern Mary-
land Children's Center", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

39B(b)

The Advisory Board for the Maryland Children's Center, estab-
lished by Section 39A of this article, shall be also the advisory board
for the Southern Maryland Children's Center, with the same duties,
powers and responsibilities for the latter institution [was] as pro-
vided for the Maryland Children's Center.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

Approved February 26, 1963.

CHAPTER 12
(Senate Bill 33)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 219 of
Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Guardians and In-
fants Not Residing in This State", correcting an error in the law
relating to petitions presented the orphans' court for certain
money or property in the hands of an executor, administrator,
guardian or trustee.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 219 of Article 93 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1962 Supplement), title "Testamentary Law", sub-title "Guardians
and Infants Not Residing in This State", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

219. If the money or property claimed is in the hands of an
executor, administrator, guardian or trustee appointed by will, and
the estate of said fiduciary is not being administered under the
