paid, the parties so convicted shall be committed to the county jail for
a term not exceeding thirty days or until discharged in due course of
law; provided, HOWEVER, that the provisions of this section shall
only apply to Caroline County, Charles County, Frederick County,
Harford County, Howard County, Montgomery County, Prince
George's County, St. Mary's County, Carroll County, Queen Anne's
County, Washington County, Worcester County, Talbot County,
Wicomico County, Dorchester County and Kent County; provided that
in Worcester County this section shall also apply to beaches adjacent
to residential riparian property, and provided further that no bonfires
shall be built nor allowed to burn on any beach or other property in
Worcester County between the hours of 1:00 o'clock A. M. and 5:00
o'clock A. M.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 127
(House Bill 375)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 1 and 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Wicomico County (1959 Edition, being Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Wicomico County," sub-
title "Bridges," subheading "Bridges at Salisbury," to repeal two
obsolete local laws of Wicomico County relating to the construction
of a drawbridge over the Wicomico River.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 1 and 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Wicomico
County (1959 Edition, being Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Wicomico County," subtitle "Bridges,"
subheading "Bridges at Salisbury," be and they are hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

Approved March 14, 1963.

CHAPTER 128
(House Bill 401)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 715A (b)
of Article 66C of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1962 Supple-
ment), title "Natural Resources," subtitle "Oysters and Clams,"
deleting the prohibition against catching soft shell clams from
October 1 until the last day of the wild fowl hunting season in Kent
County.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
