2256                    CERTIFICATES OF REFERENDA

1961, Ch. 616—Statewide Referendum

I, Lloyd L. Simpkins, Secretary of State of the State of
Maryland, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 172 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957 Edition,) Do
Hereby Certify, that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 6, 1962, an Act known as Chapter 616 of the
Acts of 1961, was submitted to the voters of the State of Maryland
pursuant to the provisions of Article XVI of the Constitution of the
State of Maryland, said Act being as follows:

"An Act to implement Article 4, Section 41C of the Constitution
of Maryland, approved at the General Election, November,
1960, relating to the Municipal Court of Baltimore City by
adding twenty-three new sections to Article 26, to be known
as Section 107-129, and by repealing and re-enacting Sections
12, 13, 15A, 21, 30, 32, 33, 36, 40 and 42 of Article 5, and by
adding Sections 12A, 12B, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47 and 48 to Article
5, and by repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, Sec-
tion 36C, 122, 123, 140, 142, 144, 267, 275, 341 (b), 349,
467 (b), 467 (d), 477, 558, 559, 577, 589, and 641 of Article
27, and by repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, Sec-
tions 13 (a), 17, 18, 19 (1), 21, 22, 23, 24, 29 (a) and 38
of Article 52, and by adding Subsection (62a) to Article 66˝
and by repealing Sections 343-373 of Article 66˝, and by
repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, Section 17 (f)
of Article 95, and by repealing and re-enacting, Section 5 (a)
of Article 38 and by repealing Sections 5 and 6 of Article
64A and by repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,
Section 59 of Article 88A, all of the aforesaid Articles being
a part of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition) ;
and by repealing and re-enacting Sections 193-196 of the
Charter and the Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949
Edition), and by repealing Sections 408 and 409 as amended
by Chapter 682 of the Acts of 1953, Section 410 as amended
by Chapters 555 and 574 of the Acts of 1957, Section 411
as amended by Chapter 540 of the Acts of 1953, Sections
412, 413, 414, 415, 416, 417, 418, 419, 420, 421 and 422 as
last amended by Chapter 604 of the Acts of 1957, Sections
423 and 424 as amended by Chapter 609 of the Acts of 1957,
Sections 425, 426, 427, and 428 as amended by Chapter 458
of the Acts of 1951, Sections 429 and 430 as amended by
Chapter 111 of the Acts of 1955, Section 431 as amended by
Chapter 111 of the Acts of 1955 and Section 432 of the
Charter and Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949
Edition) and repealing and re-enacting, with amendments,
Sections 499, 751, 753, 754 and 758 of the Charter and Public
Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition) and by repeal-
ing Section 752, 759, 761, 762, 763 and 764 of the Charter
and the Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949 Edition),
and by repealing and re-enacting, with amendments, Section
