Arundel County and training facilities for firemen in the City of
Annapolis.
Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 10-27 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County (1961 Supplement, being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County," subtitle "Chapter
10. Fire Protection," subheading "Article III. Training," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, and to read as
follows:
Sec. 10-27.
This committee is hereby authorized to approve vouchers for
payment by the County Commissioners from the account herein pro-
vided for, covering such funds as deemed necessary in the process of
providing, constructing and maintaining adequate training facilities
and Central Alarm System for the Volunteer Firemen within the
County. Provided that no voucher shall be approved for a period of
three years from the date of final passage.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 10-28 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel County (1961 Supplement,
being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County (1961 Supplement, being Article 2 of the Code of Public
Laws of Maryland), title "Anne Arundel County," subtitle "Chapter
10. Fire Protection," subheading "Article III. Training," be and it
is hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(House Bill 1063)
AN ACT to authorize and empower the County Commissioners of
Anne Arundel County to borrow not exceeding Two Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($250,000) in order to finance the construction
of a central fire alarm system and a fire training program in Anne
Arundel County; to effect such borrowing by the issuance and
sale to the highest bidder or bidders at public sale of its general
obligation, serial maturity coupon bonds in like par amount; em-
powering said County to fix and determine, by resolution, the
form, tenor, interest rate or method of arriving at the same terms,
including redemption and registration provisions, conditions,
maturities and all other details incident or necessary to the issu-
ance, public sale and delivery of said bonds, without reference
to any other law heretofore enacted; prescribing the method and
manner of selling said bonds at public sale; empowering said
County, subject to certain limitations, to sell said bonds at, above
or below the par value thereof; empowering said County to refund
any of said bonds purchased or redeemed in advance of maturity;
