WHICH COSTS ARE IMPOSED. FINES, PENALTIES, AND
FORFEITURES IMPOSED IN SAID DIVISION SHALL BE PAID
TO THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE.

THE SCHEDULE OF COSTS IN THE TRAFFIC DIVISION FOR
CASES IN WHICH COSTS ARE IMPOSED SHALL BE AS FOL-
LOWS:

ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) IN THOSE CASES IN WHICH A GUILTY
PLEA MAY BE, AND IS, ENTERED WITHOUT APPEARANCE
BEFORE THE COURT.

TWO DOLLARS ($2.00) IN THOSE CASES IN WHICH AP-
PEARANCE BEFORE THE COURT IS REQUIRED AND A PLEA
OF GUILTY IS ENTERED.

TWO DOLLARS ($2.00) IN CASES TRIED BEFORE THE
COURT ON A PLEA OF NOT GUILTY. ALL FINES, PENAL-
TIES, AND FORFEITURES IN CASES INVOLVING VIOLA-
TIONS OF THE MOTOR VEHICLE LAWS OF THIS STATE
SHALL BE PAID TO THE COMMISSIONER OF MOTOR VE-
HICLES. FINES, PENALTIES, AND FORFEITURES IN CASES
INVOLVING VIOLATIONS OF THE TRAFFIC ORDINANCES
OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTIMORE SHALL
BE PAID TO THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF BALTI-
MORE.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

(House Bill 866)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 295 (a) of
the Charter and Code of Public Local Laws of Baltimore City (1949
Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, 1930 Edition), title "Baltimore City," subtitle "Criers,
Bailiffs, Watchmen and Stenographers," as last amended by
Chapter 482 of the Acts of 1957, increasing PROVIDING FOR the
pension of FOR CERTAIN FORMER Bailiffs in Baltimore City.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 295 (a) of the Charter and Code of Public Local Laws
of Baltimore City (1949 Edition, being Article 4 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, 1930 Edition), title "Baltimore City,"
subtitle "Criers, Bailiffs, Watchmen and Stenographers," be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

295.

(a) The Treasurer of Baltimore City shall pay to the Bailiffs
respectively of the Superior Court of Baltimore City, of the Court of
