AN ACT relating to the Washington Suburban Sanitary District,
adding additional areas within Montgomery County and within
Prince George's County to the Washington Suburban Sanitary Dis-
trict, the additional areas being all those parts of Montgomery
County, except the City of Rockville, and all those parts of Prince
George's County not heretofore included within the said Sanitary

AN ACT RELATING TO THE WASHINGTON SUBURBAN SANI-
TARY DISTRICT, ADDING ADDITIONAL AREAS WITHIN
MONTGOMERY COUNTY TO THE WASHINGTON SUBUR-
BAN SANITARY DISTRICT, THE ADDITIONAL AREAS BE-
ING ALL THOSE PARTS OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY, EX-
CEPT LOCATED WITHIN THE DEFINED LEGAL DESCRIP-
TION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF DETAILED WATERSHED
OR PLANNING AREA MASTER PLANS WHICH HAVE BEEN
ADOPTED BY THE MARYLAND-NATIONAL CAPITAL PARK
AND PLANNING COMMISSION, PROVIDED THAT SUCH
PLANS HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPROVED, BY RESOLUTION
OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY COUNCIL, WITHIN 120
DAYS AFTER THE DATE OF THEIR ADOPTION, EXCLUD-
ING, HOWEVER, FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ACT,
THE CITY OF ROCKVILLE AND THE MAXIMUM EXPAN-
SION AREA THEREOF, NOT HERETOFORE INCLUDED
WITHIN THE SAID SANITARY District, the additional areas
including the Rural Water Areas in Montgomery County hereto-
fore established, PROVIDING AN ADDITIONAL PROCEDURE
FOR ADDING AREAS TO THE WASHINGTON SUBURBAN
SANITARY DISTRICT IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY, BY ORDI-
NANCE OF THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY COUNCIL; EN-
LARGING AND EXTENDING THE RURAL WATER AREAS
TO INCLUDE ALL OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY WHICH IS
NOT WITHIN THE WASHINGTON SUBURBAN SANITARY
DISTRICT; and suspending the imposition of taxes and assess-
ment charges in the areas hereby added to the Sanitary District
until service thereto becomes available.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the area herein described is added to the Washington Suburban
Sanitary District created by Chapter 122 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 1918:

All that area in Montgomery County, Maryland and all that area
in Prince George's County, Maryland, not heretofore included within
the boundaries of the Washington Suburban Sanitary District by an
Act of the General Assembly, excepting WHICH IS LOCATED, NOW
OR IN THE FUTURE, WITHIN THE DEFINED LEGAL DE-
SCRIPTION OF THE BOUNDARIES OF DETAILED WATER-
