THIS ACT SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IT SHALL BE SUB-
MITTED TO A REFERENDUM OF THE LEGALLY QUALIFIED
VOTERS OF QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY AT THE GENERAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN NOVEMBER 1964. THERE SHALL
BE PRINTED ON THE BALLOTS OR BALLOT LABELS, TO BE
USED AT SAID ELECTION, THE TITLE OF THIS ACT AND
UNDERNEATH SAID TITLE, ON SEPARATE LINES, A
SQUARE OR BOX TO THE RIGHT OF AND OPPOSITE THE
WORDS "FOR SUNDAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSES IN
QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY" AND A CORRESPONDING SQUARE
OR BOX TO THE RIGHT OF AND OPPOSITE THE WORDS
"AGAINST SUNDAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSES IN
"AGAINST SUNDAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSES IN
QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY," SO THAT THE VOTERS OF SAID
COUNTY SHALL BE ABLE TO DESIGNATE HIS OR HER DE-
CISION FOR OR AGAINST SAID ACT, AND IF A MAJORITY
OF THE VOTES CAST IN SAID ELECTION IN THE COUNTY
SHALL BE "FOR SUNDAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSES
IN QUEEN ANNE'S COUNTY" THEN THIS ACT SHALL BE-
COME EFFECTIVE IN THE COUNTY, BUT IF A MAJORITY OF
THE VOTES CAST IN THE COUNTY SHALL BE "AGAINST
SUNDAY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE LICENSES IN QUEEN
ANNE'S COUNTY," THEN THIS ACT SHALL BE OF NO FUR-
THER EFFECT AND SHALL BE NULL AND VOID.

Sec. 2 3. And be it further enacted, That SUBJECT TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 2 HEREIN this Act shall take effect June
1, 1963.

AN ACT to authorize the issuance of bonds of the Washington
Suburban Sanitary District in an aggregate principal amount not
exceeding $6,000,000 for paying the cost of storm water or sur-
face drainage systems, including any portion of the costs of sani-
tary sewer or water supply facilities resulting from the construc-
tion or planned construction of such systems in the Washington
Suburban SANITARY District, to authorize the issuance of notes
in anticipation of the issuance of such bonds, and to provide for
the payment of such bonds and notes and the interest thereon.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
(a) That, for the purpose of paying the cost of storm water or
surface drainage systems and carrying out the provisions of Chapter
526 of the Laws of Maryland of 1943, as amended by Chapter 917
of the Laws of Maryland of 1945, and Chapter 732 of the Laws of
Maryland of 1947 with respect thereto, FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PAYING THE COST OF ANY ENGINEERING OR OTHER SUR-
VEYS OF STORM WATER OR SURFACE DRAINAGE SYSTEM
NEEDS IN THE DISTRICT OR ANY PORTION THEREOF, and
for the purpose of paying for or towards the construction in the Wash-
