2. "DEPENDENT CHILD" MEANS A CHILD WHO HAS BEEN
DEPRIVED OF SUPPORT OR CARE BY REASON OF THE
DEATH, CONTINUED ABSENCE FROM THE HOME, PHYSICAL
OR MENTAL INCAPACITY, OR POVERTY OF HIS PARENT
OR GUARDIAN.
3. "DELINQUENT CHILD" MEANS A CHILD (A) WHO VIO-
LATES ANY LAW OR ORDINANCE, OR WHO COMMITS ANY
ACT WHICH, IF COMMITTED BY AN ADULT, WOULD BE A
CRIME NOT PUNISHABLE BY DEATH OR LIFE IMPRISON-
MENT; (B) WHO IS INCORRIGIBLE OR UNGOVERNABLE OR
HABITUALLY DISOBEDIENT, OR WHO IS BEYOND THE CON-
TROL OF HIS PARENTS, GUARDIAN, CUSTODIAN OR OTHER
LAWFUL AUTHORITY; (C) WHO IS HABITUALLY A TRUANT;
(D) WHO WITHOUT JUST CAUSE, AND WITHOUT THE CON-
SENT OF HIS PARENTS, GUARDIAN OR OTHER CUSTODIAN,
REPEATEDLY DESERTS HIS HOME OR PLACE OF ABODE;
(E) WHO IS ENGAGED IN ANY OCCUPATION WHICH IS IN
VIOLATION OF LAW, OR WHO ASSOCIATES WITH IMMORAL
OR VICIOUS PERSONS; OR (F) WHO SO DEPORTS HIMSELF
AS TO INJURE WILFULLY OR ENDANGER THE MORALS OF
HIMSELF OR OTHERS.
4. "NEGLECTED CHILD" MEANS A CHILD (A) WHO IS
WITHOUT PROPER GUARDIANSHIP; (B) WHOSE PARENT,
GUARDIAN OR PERSON WITH WHOM THE CHILD LIVES, BY
REASON OF CRUELTY, MENTAL INCAPACITY, IMMORALITY
OR DEPRAVITY IS UNFIT TO CARE PROPERLY FOR SUCH A
CHILD; (C) WHO IS UNDER UNLAWFUL OR IMPROPER
CARE, SUPERVISION, CUSTODY OR RESTRAINT BY ANY
PERSON, CORPORATION, AGENCY, ASSOCIATION, INSTITU-
TION OR OTHER ORGANIZATION OR WHO IS UNLAWFULLY
KEPT OUT OF SCHOOL; (D) WHOSE PARENT, GUARDIAN
OR CUSTODIAN NEGLECTS OR REFUSES, WHEN ABLE TO
DO SO, TO PROVIDE NECESSARY MEDICAL, SURGICAL, IN-
STITUTIONAL OR HOSPITAL CARE FOR SUCH CHILD; (E)
WHO IS IN SUCH CONDITION OF WANT OR SUFFERING OR
IS UNDER SUCH IMPROPER GUARDIANSHIP OR CONTROL,
OR IS ENGAGED IN SUCH OCCUPATION AS TO INJURE OR
ENDANGER THE MORALS OR HEALTH OF HIMSELF OR
OTHERS; OR (F) WHO IS LIVING IN A HOME WHICH FAILS
TO PROVIDE A STABLE MORAL ENVIRONMENT. IN DE-
TERMINING WHETHER SUCH STABLE MORAL ENVIRON-
MENT EXISTS THE COURT SHALL CONSIDER, AMONG
OTHER THINGS, WHETHER THE PARENT, GUARDIAN OR
PERSON WITH WHOM THE CHILD LIVES
(I) IS UNABLE TO PROVIDE SUCH ENVIRONMENT BY
REASONS OF IMMATURITY, OR EMOTIONAL, MENTAL OR
PHYSICAL DISABILITY;
(II) IS ENGAGING IN PROMISCUOUS CONDUCT INSIDE
OR OUTSIDE THE HOME;
(III) IS CO-HABITING WITH A PERSON TO WHOM HE OR
SHE IS NOT MARRIED;
(IV) IS PREGNANT WITH AN ILLEGITIMATE CHILD; OR
