This Indenture made the Twenty seventh of Novem-
ffive Betweene Nicholas Clouds of Kent County in
of the same County and Province of the other Parte Witt-
sume of ffive Thousand Pounds of Tobacco to him in hand allready
these Presents the Receipt whereof he the said Nicholas Clouds doth
Doth acquit and Discharge the said Peter Massy his Heires Execrs
hath given, granted, Bargained, and Sold, Released, and Confirmed
and Confirme unto the said Peter Massy all that Tract or Parcell
=side of Chester River and on the East Side of a small branch running
a bounded Tree of Simon Willmore's Land and running with said
Hundred Pearches, and from thence with a straight Line to the
more or Less according to the Cirtivecate of Survey thereof taken
Waters, Priviledges, Proffits Comodities, and Appurtenances what-
and to hold the said Tract or parcell of Land according to the
appurtenances unto the said Peter Massy his Heires and assignes
Massy and his Heires and assigns for Ever, and the said
with all the appurtenances unto the said Peter Massy his
whatsoever warrant and by these Presents for ever Defend &
berances whatsoever The Chiefe Rents and Services from
Excepted for the Chiefe Lord or Lords of the ffee or ffees of
the Parties first above named to these Present Indenture Inter-
first above written
Signed Sealed and Delivered
in the Presence of us
Nicholas [mark] Mercy        On the Back Side of
John [mark] Clouds              / Know all men by these
                                  Province of Maryland do make
                                  friend John Hawkins Junr my
                                   the within Deed in open Cort
                                  and meaning thereof as if I
                                  hereunto sett my hand & seal
                                  Signed sealed & Delivered
                                  in ye Presents of us

                                  John [mark] Clouds

Lady Anne by the Grace of God over England Scotland
and in the year of Our Lord Christ One Thousand Seven
of Talbot County in the Province of Maryland of the

Pounds of Tobacco to him in hand paid or secured to be paid
