    July 12th 1705
Mr Edward Scott came this Day & prayed yt his
mark of cattle & hoggs might be recorded wch is
is as followeth vizt a Slitt and an under Keele
in Each Eare being formrly ye marke of Jon
Pane Deceased, & now belonging to sd Edward
             recorded p Lumley Clk

Kent Is  June ye 28th 1705
Then came before us Elias King & Nathll Wright two
of her majestyes Justices of ye peace for sd County
Walter Bownell wth Thymothy Hurly & George
ffaxon of sd County as securytie to suprcead of
Execution till ye 10th of 9ber next obtained at sd
Bownell by fflower Walker upon a non suit as
appears p record of sd County
To Mr Edward Scott                       Elias King
Heigh Sher Kent County             Nattll Wright
                                      p Lumley Clk

Know all men by these prsents That I John
Harrington of Ratcliffe in the county of
Midlesex Marriner have made ordaind
constituted authorized & appointed & by These
prsents do make Ordain Constitute Authorize
and appoint Mathew Smith of Chester River
in Mariland Merchat my true & Lawfull
attorney & deputy for me and in my name
to my own proper use to ask demand
receive & take of all & every person and
persons in Mariland all & singular such
sume & sums of money goods claims and
debts dues merchandizes claimes and
demands whatsoever is is coming belonging or
appartaining unto me by any ways or
means howsoever giveing & by these prsents
granting unto my said attorney full
power & absolute authority to recover &
receive all & singular the pmisses afforesd
and upon Rect thereof or any pt thereof
acquittances or other discharges for me and
in my name to make seal & deliver and
further to do all other acts & things
requisite to be done in and aboute the
premisses in as full & ample manner &
to all intents Constructions and purposes as
I might or could doe if in person
present Ratifieing allowing & holding
firm & stable all & whatsoever my said
attorney shall Lawfully doe or cause to be
done in & about the presmisses by vertue of
these prsents In Wittness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand & seal the last day of March anno
