George Barber Thereupon Wm. Graves, James Thomas & John Howell of Kent County planters present here in the same County Court in their proper persons Acknowledgeth themselves Indebted to his Lordship the Lord propry of the province of Maryland William Graves in the sum of twenty pounds currant money James Thomas and John Howell in the sum of ten pounds like money each to be made and Leveyed on their bodys goods & chattels Lands & Tenements for the Use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successors With Condition to this recognizance that Wm. Graves afd makes his Perso: :nall Appearance before the Justices of Our next March Court to be held for the County afd Then & there to Answer into Such things as Shall be Objected against him on his Lordships behalf and in the mean time to keep the peace & be of good behavour Especially towards George Barber Then this recognizance to be Void Else to remain in full force in Law |
