And thereof Submits to the Court &c Therefore it is Considered by
the Justices here to wit at Kent County Court at the Court house in the Town
of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of Novr. being the fourteenth
day of said month in the year of Our Lord seventeen hundred thirty &
Eight that the afd David pay the sum of four pounds Current money
of Maryland as a fine for Committing the Offence afd Also it is
Considered by the Justices at the time and place afd that the said
David pay the sum of four hundred ninty and nine pounds of tobo.
Costs Accrueing on the premisses afd to the Officers of this Court &c
Ordered by this Court here that the fine afd be delivered the sher.
of Kent County And he not having wherewithall to Satisfy the fine
afd nor no One Offering to do it for him Thereupon he is Commtd.
into the Custody of the Sher. of Kent County afd untill the fine
afd be Satisfyed                  Ordered by this Court here that the
afd David give Security for the Fees Accrueing on the prsses
afd to the Officers of this Court And he having no One to Offer
nor no One Offering for him Thereupon he is Committed into
the Custody of the Sher. of Kent County untill he give Security as
afd                  Ordered by this Court here that the afd David
                                           with Security
enter into recognizance ^ for his Appearance & good behavour
to next March Court &c                  Thereupon David Crane
of Chester Town Carpenter and Robert Jackson of the same place
Mercht. & Hugh ONeil of the afd place Cooper and present here in
Court in their proper persons Acknowledgeth themselves Indebted
to his Lordship the right honourable the Lord propry of Maryland
David Crane in the sum of twenty pounds Currt. money of the
prove. afd and Robert Jackson and Hugh ONeile in the sum of
ten pounds like money each to be made and Leveyed on their bodys goods
and Chattles Lands & Tenements for the Use of his said Lordship his
heirs and Successors With Condition to this recoge. that David
Crane do make his Personall Appearance before the Justices of
Our next County Court to be held at Our Court house in the Town of
Chester in said County on the third tuesday of March next and in
the mean time to keep the peace and be of good behavour And
Particularly to John Ambrose Then this recognize. to be Void Else to
Remain in full force in Law                           Jams Smith Cl. Kt. Coty.

His Lordship    The afd Mary being Indicted for having
agt    a Mollatto Base born child And being Acquitted
Margt. Wood    thereof by the petit Jury Comes into Court in
her proper person and Confesseth that She is guilty of having a
