The Secretary of the Senate returned the following bills:
An act to provide for the inspection of Guano, Agricultural
Salts, and all artificial and manufactured manures, and for
the appointment of inspectors thereof in the city of Baltimore;
Endorsed, "rejected by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an act for the relief of Anna Eloisa Jones
and Maria Susannah Jones, of Queen Anne's county;

Endorsed, "rejected by yeas and nays."

An act for the endowment of the Baltimore Female
College;

Endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled, an act to provide for a State subscription to
Wingate's Maryland Register, for 1858 and 1859;

Endorsed, "rejected by yeas and nays."

Also returned a bill entitled, an act appropriating a sum
of money for the payment of the claims of J. Wesley White,
Paul Martin and Mary R. Sullivan;

A bill entitled, an act to incorporate the trustees of Oak
Grove School House in Washington county;

A bill entitled, an act to authorise the county commission-
ers of Harford county, to sell their present Poor House Farm
and purchase another, and to erect a suitable building for the
use of the paupers of said county;

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Also returned the bill entitled, a supplement to an act en-
titled, an act to incorporate a company to construct a turn-
pike road from Hagerstown in Washington county to Smiths-
burg, passed January session 1856, chapter 249;

Also returned, resolution in relation to State Wharf in
Baltimore;

Severally endorsed, "passed by yeas and nays."

Also returned a bill entitled an act, a supplement to an act,
passed January session 1853, chapter 214, entitled an act to
regulate pilotage;

A bill entitled, an act in favor of the Maryland State Agri-
cultural Society;

Severally endorsed, "rejected by yeas and nays."
