The consideration of the unfinished business was postponed
ten minutes.

Mr. Belt offered the following order:

Ordered, That the thanks of this House are eminently due,
and they are hereby tendered to the Honorable John S. Berry,
Speaker of this House, for the faithful and able manner in
which he has discharged the onerous and responsible duties
of his office during the present session.
