The Senate bill entitled, an act to provide for the inspect-
ing, measuring and weighing of Grain in the city of Balti-
more,

Being on its second reading,

Mr. Landing proposed the following as an additional sec-
tion:

"Sec.—. Any person appointed by the Governor as in-
spector shall pay a license of one hundred dollars before
proceeding to duty;"

Which was not assented to.

The said bill was then read the second time and ordered
to be engrossed for a third reading.

The said bill was then read the third time, by special
order, and passed by yeas and nays, as follow:
