The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
sage:

By the Senate,

March 6, 1858.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We request you to return the bill, requiring the justices of
the peace in Queen Anne's county, issuing summonses for
debt to return the same in the district where the defendant
resides.

passed at January session, 1852, chapter 93, an act to alter

cember session, 1840, chapter 214;
