The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bill;

A bill entitled, an act to provide for the payment of the
unexpended balance of the appropriation made for Internal
Improvements, on the Eastern Shore of this State, by the act
of December session 1835, chapter 395;

Which was read the first time, and referred to the commit-
tee on Ways and Means;

On motion the House adjourned.

EVENING SESSION, 7½ o'clock, P. M.

The House met. Present at the call of the roll the fol-
